Her business, Zeenat Ahmed-Peto Cognitive Hypnotherapy, established in 2013 and nestled in Lavender Hill, has earned her a place among 100 inspirational female entrepreneurs nationwide. This accolade is part of the f:Entrepreneur ‘#iAlso100’ campaign, which highlights trailblazing female founders who lead purpose-driven businesses while juggling other responsibilities like volunteering and community support.
Zeenat transitioned from a long career as a primary teacher to founding her business, driven by a passion for cognitive hypnotherapy. Her dedication extends beyond her practice; she champions accessibility to information, education, and economic advancement. Zeenat’s initiatives include a monthly networking group for women, an online book club, therapy work with children and families, and supporting sensitive men in discussing mental health, challenging stereotypes around toxic masculinity.
